Alex is an award winning actor and drummer originally from Solihull in the West Midlands.
Since graduating from The Arts Educational Schools, London in 2018, he has worked in Theatre, Musical Theatre and Actor- Musician productions at venues including The RSC, The Royal Albert Hall and Regents Park Open Air Theatre. During the Pandemic, he was part of The Pitlochry Festival Theatre online series #PFTLightHopeJoy, which won ‘Highly Commended Regional Theatre of the Year’ at The 2021 Stage Awards. He is currently appearing in ‘The Wind in the Willows’ with the Australian Shakespeare Company.
He started his drumming career with The Midland Youth Jazz Orchestra aged 15 and performed with the likes of Clare Teal, Elaine Delmar and John Faddis. Alex is co-founder and Drummer for the artist driven music society and band ACT Music LDN. The group have performed across the UK at venues including The Arcola Theatre, The Drayton Arms Theatre, Cahoots, Mr Foggs Society of Exploration, The Ale Rooms and Hogarths. They most recently held a 2 day residency at ‘Bar La Sang‘ in Palma, Mallorca. During the pandemic, the group raised money for The Theatre Support Fund performing as ‘The Socially Distant Quartet’.
